Elante Mall (Nexus Malls) is an Indian shopping mall located in Chandigarh. It is the 7th largest retail mall in Northern India and the 10th largest in India, with a gross leasable area of 1,000,000 sq ft (93,000 m2). Elante covers a total area of 20 acres. It's part of Larsen & Toubro's Elante mixed-use real estate development project.
Elante, the biggest mall in Chandigarh, Larsen & Toubro Group, a USD 13.5 billion technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and financial services conglomerate, has formally launched its new headquarters in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Chandigarh.
Elante Biggest Mall in Chandigarh Office Building
Elante Mall contains about 1 million square feet of retail space. It has two main gates, one at the large front entrance and the other in the back. Three basement levels, a ground level, and three above levels make up the structure. In the retail industry, Elante Mall is home to a variety of Indian and foreign businesses, as well as a food court and a café patio. PVR Cinemas features an 8-screen multiplex in the mall. The mall contains restaurants, quick food establishments, and a Fun City for children's entertainment on its top floor.
Due to a lack of energy, the mall was discovered to be consuming 6000 liters of fuel per day in 2013. A 15MW power supply is required for the mall.
Deals on acquisitions
Elante Mall was purchased by Mumbai-based Carnival Group in September 2015 for Rs 1,785 crore (more than US$ 274 million), making it one of the largest real estate or property purchases in India at the time.
Nexus Malls, a subsidiary of The Blackstone Group, a US-based global investment business, purchased Elante Mall for an undisclosed sum on July 28, 2017. Elante Mall has been sold twice in the last two years. Experts consider this to be a top-tier transaction in India's real estate history.
